Welcome to Moon Room ABQ - a women-owned and focused community space! Our goal is to provide a welcoming, safe, and inspiring environment for all kinds of gatherings, from creative projects and events to classes and workshops. To ensure everyone has the best possible experience, we ask that you review and agree to the following terms and policies.

What is Moon Room?

Moon Room is not a “rental” or “sublease” space. Our membership model grants access to a thoughtfully curated environment, including exclusive use of our furniture, props, and creative tools. Members pay for the experience, atmosphere, and resources we provide — not just the square footage.

This model is common in creative and wellness spaces, similar to co-working or photography studio memberships, where members gain access to equipment, amenities, and a supportive community rather than just an empty room.

Beyond the space itself, Moon Room offers creative direction, event coordination, and marketing support to help our members and community bring their ideas to life. Whether you're hosting an intimate gathering, a workshop, or a photoshoot, we’re here to help you refine your vision and share it with the world.

1. General Use and Conduct

Our space is designed with women in mind—creating a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment where connection and self-expression thrive. While we warmly welcome everyone, we especially celebrate and prioritize women, providing a place where they can feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

  • Respect the Space: Please treat Moon Room ABQ and all its furnishings with care. Maintain the cleanliness and setup of the space, ensuring it’s ready for the next guest.

  • Noise Levels: Keep music and other audio to a reasonable volume to avoid disturbing others in the building, especially after 7pm. Let’s respect the neighbors and other tenants.

  • Building Courtesy: Avoid lingering in hallways or entering any areas not included in your booking. This is a shared space. Please primarily remain in Moon Room & only go to into the shared space for the restroom and kitchen. Please do not communicate with other tenants, asking questions about Moon Room or anything else. Do not disturb other tenants.

2. Clean-Up and Departure

  • Return Items to Their Place: After your event or session, please reset furniture, decor, and any equipment you may have used. 

  • Dispose of Trash: Trash and recycling bins are available; please take large items with you if bins are full. Leave the space as you found it.

  • Wipe Down Surfaces: Clean up any spills or messes, and wipe down tables, counters, or other surfaces.

  • We will do a deep clean, but because we will be hosting others right after you most days, it should be left looking nice and clean.

3. Entry and Security

  • Keypad Access: If you’ve been given access and approved for hosting, you’ll receive an entry code to use the keypad on the main door. Enter the code on the keypad then turn the deadbolt to the left and use the handle to open. Lock once inside. When leaving, enter the code in again and turn the deadbolt to the right, you will hear a click and then you can test to ensure the door is securely locked before leaving.

  • Respect Booking Time: Please be mindful of your scheduled time. Early arrivals or late departures may affect other bookings, so we appreciate your promptness.

  • Moon Room is monitored by an indoor and outdoor camera. You may be recorded for security and safety purposes, especially if one of our team members isn't present during your booking.

4. Personal Belongings and Liability

Moon Room ABQ is not responsible for:

  • Personal Items: We cannot be held liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

  • Vehicles: Moon Room ABQ is not responsible for any damage, theft, or break-ins that may occur to vehicles or their contents while parked at or near the premises.

  • Injuries or Accidents: Use of the space is at your own risk, and we cannot be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or incidents that may occur during your booking.

5. Property Damage and Fees

  • Damage Fees: Any damage to the space, furnishings, or equipment beyond regular wear and tear may incur additional fees. These fees will be billed to the booking party.

  • Security Deposit: For certain events or sessions, a refundable security deposit MAY be required. This deposit is intended to cover any incidental damages.

6. Prohibited Activities

  • Unauthorized Use: Moon Room ABQ is designed for approved gatherings and activities. Unauthorized or unlawful activities are strictly prohibited.

  • Smoking and Open Flames: Smoking, candles, and open flames are not permitted in the space unless given prior approval.

7. Terms Acceptance

By booking Moon Room ABQ, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and policies. Our team is here to help if you have any questions or need clarification.
